Massive amount of tomatoes
we planted 8 marble sized Norland Potato eyes
June 27th 2014 At the end of April, we planted 8 marble sized Norland Potato eyes. We used 1 WaterStick for each eye. 2 months later on June 27th, we dug them up and had grown 21 POUNDS of potatoes from 8 tiny little eyes, in 2 months. This was grown in a space that was 4′ x 1 1/2′ and using The WaterStick Grow System. Grow a LOT of food in very small spaces using the WaterStick Grow System. Learn how in our book The 20 FOOT Tomato Plant.
Both gardens are growing fantastic.
June 15th 2014 As you can see, both gardens are growing fantastic. The Better Boys in the original garden are about 6 FEET tall, and the Tomatoes in the new garden are about 5+ FEET tall.
Our Bell Pepper plants are doing great, putting out many Peppers. I’ve already pulled the Lettuce and Spinach, making room to plant my Tigger Mellons. I’ve never grown this type of melon before, but I heard they have a wonderful sweet flavor and am looking forward to trying them.
The Norland Potatoes have been in the ground for almost 6 weeks. I think I’m going to dig them up when they have been in the ground for a full 2 months. Could you ever imagine growing this much food in the small planting area we are growing in. Using the WaterStick Grow system explained in our book The 20 FOOT Tomato Plant makes it easy.
We use a lot of Bell Peppers
June 27th 2014 We use a lot of Bell Peppers, but our plants are growing them faster than we can use them. Every so often we will pick a large batch of peppers to chop up, vacuum pack and freeze or dehydrate them. This photo is from June 27th we had picked 9 1/4 lbs and still left MANY smaller peppers on the plants. As you can see, these plants are LOADED with peppers. Using the WaterStick Grow System you can grow a LOT of food in very small spaces, using LESS water, LESS fertilizer, and ZERO toxic pesticides.
Just relaxing sitting on the ledge of the New Garden
June 15th 2014 Just relaxing sitting on the ledge of the New Garden showing off its mass of tomato plants. I’m still working on getting the support poles in to tie up the plants, but I can only do that when I can get some help. I had planned on taking down the frame, but I might leave it up to help support the plants.
12 tomato plants in the new garden
May 28th 2014 This is the second photo of the 12 tomato plants in the new garden. They were given BUG JUICE on May 24 (see previous blog), and Super42Vitalizer on My 27th. 24 hours later on May 28th, this photo was taken. Most of the plants had grown an average of 10 to 12 inches in just 4 days. BUG JUICE is not just a great organic pest repellent, it is also a fantastic fertilizer all by itself and when you add the power of the Super42Vitalizer, your plants will grow huge and put out LOTS of vegetables.
The Better Boy Tomato plants
May 28th 2014 The Better Boy Tomato plants grew 8 1/2 inches in 4 days. I gave them a dose of BUG JUICE on 05/24/14 and a dose of Super42Vitalizer on 05/27/14. I took this photo exactly 24 hours after giving them the Super42Vitalizer. Please keep checking back for more Blog and photos. I’m way behind on my Blog posting and I’m trying to catch up.
Massive amounts of Bell Peppers
May 24th 2014 We have 16 Bell Pepper Plants packed in this small space. They are growing great and small peppers are growing on them already. Using the WaterStick, Super42Vitalizer, and BUG JUICE, the main stalks are getting thick and strong. We have 1 extra Bell Pepper that is NOT on the WaterStick, and the main stalk of this plant is about half the size of the ones that are being watered and fertilized using the WaterStick.
The amount of food we are growing in this small garden is incredible
May 24th 2014 The amount of food we are growing in this small garden is incredible. Growing this much food so close together keeps the weeds from growing. I think so far, I’ve picked 2 small weeds from the garden just using 2 fingers. The garden is producing so much lettuce, my Wife and I are eating a large salad every day and still have extra we’ve been giving away to friends and neighbors. We did find out one thing. Instead of crisping your lettuce in a large bowl with water in the refrigerator, if you rinse the lettuce with water and put it in a plastic grocery bag in the refrigerator, both the Green AND Red Romaine crisp up nicely and stay fresher longer than keeping them in a bowl of water. I am now a HUGE fan of Red Romaine. You can count on it being in my Fall garden this year !
The 12 Tomato Plants in the new garden are growing nicely
May 24th 2014 The 12 Tomato Plants in the new garden are growing nicely. There are 3 Rutgers, 3 Celebrity, 3 Early Girl, and 3 Health Kick. I have NEVER grown any of these varieties of Tomatoes before. I have been growing Better Boy and Husky Cherry Red Tomatoes for decades. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and try the WaterStick, Super42Vitalizer, and BUG JUICE on something I have never grown before.
This photo was taken right before giving these plants a dose of BUG JUICE. I will wait 3 days, then give them a dose of Super42Vitalizer. I will take another photo 24 hours after I give these plants the Super42Vitalizer and post it in a future Blog.
